"Raise money to help the most vulnerable people in our society maintain their right to access to justice!
The Access to Justice Foundation and Legal Support Trusts act accross the country to raise money for organisations who continue to fight for and provide free legal advice and support to those who are unable to afford to pay for it.
With the continuing cuts accross the sector, and the increase in poverty due to the recession, more and more people are finding themselves unable to access legal services. While funding for the advice sector has been cut, particularly since the 2013 removal of much of legal aid for humanitarian or social welfare legal advice, the demand for and importance of support from charities to those unable in need has increased dramatically.
The Access to Justice Foundation and the Legal Support Trusts raises essential funds to ensure that services continue to be provided accross the country to protect individuals in need of legal assistance."
