"There is a serious mental health epidemic affecting young people in the UK. More than 1 in 4 young people (26%) waiting for mental health support have attempted to take their own life.

Beyond is a youth mental health charity tackling this growing mental health crisis. We use our expertise and resources to help those working with young people access barrier-free mental health education and the most effective mental health support.

Beyond has created an ecosystem which increases access to, and awareness of, the mental health interventions that young people need. Our annual festival, Now and Beyond, initiates mental health conversations across educational settings in the UK. Our directory is the first ever cross-sector resource of mental health services available for young people across the UK. For those who would benefit from support, we aim to provide crucial and timely financial access to interventions required.

Since 2021, Beyond has provided financial access to mental health support for young people in 55+ schools across the UK, impacting 20,000 children. Support ranges from counselling for children in crisis, to wellbeing programmes for vulnerable inner-city teens.

Every young person deserves the most effective support at the right moment. Beyond is working to make this a reality."
