Children’s Cancer North is an independent charity that supports individuals and families affected by childhood cancer.

Formed in 2021 following the merger of North of England Children’s Cancer Research and Children’s Cancer Fund, Children’s Cancer North has raised over £40m to support children with cancer in the North East and Cumbria since 1979.

The charity invests in critical childhood cancer research to make a difference now and for future generations. It supports children and families affected by childhood cancer, and it helps improve and enhance people’s lives both in and out of hospital.

Children’s Cancer North also delivers the annual Children’s Cancer Run, supported by Greggs, at Newcastle Racecourse, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023.
