As parents of a sick child who underwent intensive treatment, we spent many days and nights in hospital often feeling exhausted, anxious and isolated.Through this experience of hospitals, we saw first-hand areas in which parents could be further helped and supported.
We feel passionately about helping others and hope that in the most dark and challenging times we can offer some practical and emotional support to parents and their families. In memory of our six-year-old son Hugh, who passed away suddenly of cancer, ‘It’s Never You’ aims to be a fitting legacy in memory of him and what he stood for. He was a thoughtful caring boy who instinctively wanted to help others and we now hope to support and positively change the lives of parents with your help.
