MQ: Transforming Mental Health is a major new charity with great ambition. We fund groundbreaking research to increase our understanding of mental illness and radically improve diagnosis and treatment. We aim to change the lives of those affected and give them hope for a brighter future.

We want to create a world where:

• Mental illness is understood, diagnosed and treated like any other disorder
• World-class research into improving the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illness is a global priority
• People affected by mental illness and their families know that the best science is being applied to improving their quality of life
