Street Child are a social welfare and education organisation, which supports children and families in West Africa and Nepal. We not only work with out-of-school children and their families, we also work with remote communities to provide sustainable access to education where there otherwise wouldn't be any: building schools and training teachers. In Nepal, we are working with 4 of the worst earthquake-affected areas, building education centres.
Our current campaign is called Girls Speak Out and aims to raise £1 million to ensure that more than 20,000 children can go to school and stay there. What's more, it will offer girls across Sierra Leone the chance to speak out for the first time to help ensure that the issues they face cannot continued to be ignored.
