The Harvey Hext Trust is a small national charity that supports children who's sibling or parent has died.
The charity supplies beautiful bespoke Memory boxes and Memory bears via bereavement services across the UK. Working with the family and bereavement professionals, we provide a vital tool to support bereaved children ‘s mental health and we enable them to talk about their feelings of loss, and their grief for person who has died.
The Charity also supplies hospitals and hospices with beautiful, high quality bereavement bags. “Harvey’s Holdalls” are for Parents and Carers to use to transport their Childs belongings home in after they have died. The Holdalls are a high-quality item and a respectful place for families to carefully store their child’s clothes and toys. Many families are suddenly bereaved and leave hospital with their precious child’s belongings in a hospital property bag or carrier bags.
The Holdalls have been welcomed by bereavement teams across the country
In Bristol we are able to fund family days out after a bereavement.
We also provide hospitals and hospices with child friendly literature about death.
