The Invicta Foundation is a charity that supports anybody who is adversely effected by military service. The foundation was born when Cheryl Hall and Stephen Robertson's son Ashley Hall, was severely injured in an explosion in Afghanistan, losing both of his legs above the knee. The couple had recognised that although there was relative support for the individual, there was a gap in the support package for the family as a whole. The Invicta Foundation vowed to be a charity that is willing to help everybody who is involved within military service. This may be active service personel, veterans, military families and friends.
The charity supports individuals on a case-to-case basis, providing access to counselling, respite breaks for families, funding for equipment to improve the quality of lives. The charity also hosts a number of support groups and events to bring together these families in a comfortable environment.
The Invicta Foundation relies completely on grants and public fundraising, and there is not a better way of fundraising than challenging yourself!
