"The New Normal provides free non-judgemental peer support for adults facing life’s difficult moments, particularly bereavement. We provide 25-30 meetings per month for a diverse range of experiences, communities and identities.
Peer-to-peer support is a model that TNN has proudly embraced since its inception. We believe the best therapy is talking with others with similar life experiences.
The Charity was founded by friends who had bonded over the death of their fathers, who wanted to share and expand their conversations around grief with others experiencing loss.
Since our first ‘Good Grief’ meeting in May 2018, we have provided more than a thousand meetings to more than a thousand individuals - that equates to more than 100,000 minutes of free grief and mental health peer support!"
