Waves Music Therapy is a UK charity dedicated to transforming lives through the power of music. We specialise in delivering evidence-based music therapy to support the mental health and well-being of people with complex needs, including children and young people facing trauma, abuse, neglect, and disability.
Our highly skilled therapists provide individual and group sessions tailored to a wide range of needs, from autism and SEND support to mental health interventions and community-based music projects. We offer innovative approaches such as rap, spoken word, and songwriting, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all. Over 91% of our sessions are fully funded, removing financial barriers and reaching those most in need.
Recognised nationally for our impact, Waves has been featured by the BBC for Comic Relief, invited to Downing Street to highlight the role of music in mental health, and partnered with organisations like NHS Sussex, Youth Music, and the National Lottery.
By harnessing the power of music, we empower individuals to build confidence, express themselves, and develop resilience, ensuring that no one is left unheard. Making Waves: Harnessing Music for Mental Health and Wellbeing for All.
